“Resilience in a Rapidly Changing World”
Acknowledging the urgency of conservation and restoration in the face of biodiversity loss and habitat fragmentation
The Florida Chapter of The Wildlife Society invites students, professionals, and practitioners to its 2026 Spring Conference, a three-day gathering focused on advancing wildlife research, management, and conservation in an increasingly complex and changing world.
This year’s theme, “Resilience in a Rapidly Changing World,” highlights the scientific, management, and collaborative approaches needed to address accelerating environmental change, habitat fragmentation, and biodiversity loss. The conference will feature keynote speakers, technical sessions, posters, field trips, networking socials, and student-focused activities designed to foster meaningful discussion and collaboration across disciplines.
Interested in presenting your work? Submit an abstract for an oral or poster presentation.
Annual meetings provide a unique opportunity to connect with colleagues, share innovative research and management strategies, and build collaborations that extend well beyond the conference itself. Whether you are a student entering the profession or an experienced practitioner, this conference offers a welcoming environment to exchange ideas, gain new perspectives, and strengthen professional networks. With dedicated student incentives, awards, and opportunities for interaction, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
